Brentwood Police Receives Grant Help With Deadly Vasco
Full Description:
The Brentwood Police Department received a two-year grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety for traffic safety improvements on Vasco Road, a 15-mile stretch of highway , tagges as the "Blood Alley."
The $202,700 will provide 25 hour of overtime pay per week, to be split between Brentwood and another police department, for the next two years.
Extra officers will be asked to patrol the north and south ends of the road and targeting speeders and impaired drivers in addition to the current improvements.
