The dips, bumps and holes that irrirate motorists and sometimes causes accidents is currently being repaired.

Caltrans had launched a major road rehabilitation project last Monday along a 10-mile stretch from Antioch to Brentwood, digging out and repaving the broken roadway using rubberized asphalt, which will significantly reduce traffic noise and vibrations.

The $8M project, now in full operation at night time when there are less motorists, is set to be completed by next year. Everyone is excited to finally experience a "smooth ride" on the 4.
